Welcome

This is the Tilda studio blog where we post a little inspiration and wish you a creative day. The studio is where Tilda products are designed and books are made, from beginning to end. This is where we build scenes for book photography and create the Tilda atmosphere.

The blog is run by the Tilda team. Blog photography is by Inger Marie Grini, Line Dammen, Petter Bye, Sølvi Dos Santos, Ingrid Skaansar and Tone Finnanger. Please feel free to post our photos with a link to tildasworld.com.

Stitching in Norway & Tilda’s World

Our friends at Sewandso are arranging a fun creative trip to Norway where we get to welcome the participants to the Tilda Showroom to show the latest news for 2018!

7-day stitching holiday to Norway – Exclusive Tilda studio tour and workshop

Join Karin Hellaby on this fabulous tour to Norway. Set against a backdrop of breathtakingly beautiful landscapes, this tour takes you on a discovery of Norway’s rich textile heritage. Under the professional guidance of a local expert, you can try your hand at traditional Hardanger embroidery. Join in the colourful celebrations on Norwegian Constitution Day where you will be immersed in festivities with flags, ribbons and national costumes.

By special invitation, you have a truly unique opportunity to visit the studio of internationally loved sewing brand, Tilda, on the beautiful island of Tjøme. You’ll enjoy a tour of the showroom before crafting a specially designed project in a private workshop hosted by the Tilda team.

See you in January!

Red and blue Christmas

Red and blue makes such an adorable classic combination for Christmas. Helen Phillips is mixing the old and the new by combining Cottage fabrics with older red and blue Tilda scraps to create a sweet Christmas look. Be inspired by her November stitching or one of her lovely books.
