Welcome

This is the Tilda studio blog where we post a little inspiration and wish you a creative day. The studio is where Tilda products are designed and books are made, from beginning to end. This is where we build scenes for book photography and create the Tilda atmosphere.

The blog is run by the Tilda team. Blog photography is by Inger Marie Grini, Line Dammen, Petter Bye, Sølvi Dos Santos, Ingrid Skaansar and Tone Finnanger. Please feel free to post our photos with a link to tildasworld.com.

The Cottage Quilt

Make a cosy quilt to curl up with in front of the fire in time for those cold winter months. We used all the Cottage fabrics and Tildas matching off white quilt fabric for the design. The Cottage quilt reminds us of crisp Nordic winters with it’s its red cottages and fir trees surrounded by white snow.
The quilt is available as a pattern with instructions written by our expert Linda Clements.

Minerva Dress

Brily Rose & Co made a wonderful dress in “Minerva Dove White” fabric from the Cottage Collection. The Minerva fabrics are inspired by watercolor paintings and available in  3 colors.

The Cottage Collection!

Get ready for the cool winter with the fresh new Cottage Collection!

The Cottage collection is inspired by the kind of fabrics you might find in old quilts and the white Nordic winters.
You find classic large flower fabrics combined with small flower patterns that could be from an old shirt.
The colors are fresh red and off-white mixed with sage green and beautiful blues, perfect for lovely romantic Christmas decor.

New Tilda book “Sewing by Heart”

The new Tilda book “Sewing by Heart” has just arrived in the studio and the Patch Foxes are all excited to see if they look good on the pictures:

You can now pre-order “Sewing by Heart” from Sew and So and Amazon

Paisleyandgingham

Love this quilt by Paiseyandgingham, the Harvest fabrics work so well with the sand colored fabric.

And she made some really beautiful project with the leftovers!
