The new Tilda book “Hjemmelaget og lykkelig” (Happiness is Homemade) is photographed in Tone’s mountain cottage where the whole family spends Christmas.
We had a great time surrounded by mountains and snow, and with Tone’s little sister Tiril as the model, as well as the family dog Totto.
This is an autumn and winter book, with naive characters and a cosy cottage feel.
You will find appliqué and hand quilt projects, ideas for Christmas decorations, warm quilts, and animals such as reindeer, lambs, owls and pigs on wheels.
A large appliqued and quilted Santa is the star of the book, and angels are made in the angel workshop.
The book will be available in Norwegian in September. The English translation will follow a couple, or a few weeks later. We will keep you updated.
Have a great weekend!
Hope you all had a great summer!
Autumn is just around the corner, and we have two new collections to present as well as a new large cozy-cottage Tilda book. Here is a little preview.
We have followed the talented Leanne Beasley’s cosy blog “Leanne’s House” for years and love her magazine “Vignette” and amazing needlework. Now she has started a new lovely web www.leanneshouse.com.
Check out Mrs Beasley’s sampler quilt made out of Tilda fabric, beautiful!
The lovely brand “miley & moss” make the most adorable vintage inspired handmade children’s clothes and accessories in Tilda fabric. It is a treat for us at the studio to see such beautiful items made out of our materials. For more inspiration check out their web site.
Another favorite of ours this spring are floral clothespins, you can use them as clothespins but they are great when attaching a tag or other decorations on a gift or gift bag.
